Pime ensures that all its users' personal information is collected and processed in compliance with privacy laws, in accordance with Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, relating to data processing.

Under the Data Protection Act, dated January 6, 1978 (french law), every user has the right to access, rectify, delete, and object to their personal data. Users can exercise this right by contacting support from within the application. Your data is stored, processed, and used only by Pime in order to always provide you with the best possible service.

All your data is communicated securely (via HTTPS) to our servers.

I - Personal Information Collected

Here is the set of personal information held for every user:

• Phone number
• Username
• Location data
• IP address
• Anonymous identifier of the device(s) used
• Email address (if provided)

Usernames allow you to avoid indicating your real name and protect your privacy.

Posts made by any user are public and can be immediately viewed by any other user (not necessarily located in the same geographical area as the poster).

Private messages allow you to communicate with other users privately.

II - Location data

Your location can be collected in two ways:

1. When you use the application
2. In the background, provided you authorize the application to collect your location without it being open

Your location allows:

• To retrieve posts posted around you
• In the case of a post: Indicate where the post was made

III - Data Usage

The collected data helps to secure access to your account as much as possible. Your email address is notably used to notify you of any sensitive changes made to your account.

In the near future, data related to your account may potentially be used to:

• Develop new features
• Improve existing ones
• Ensure the proper functioning of Pime
• Personalize your experience
• Provide relevant advertisements
• Contact you
• Enforce our terms and policies

IV - Data Sharing

With regard to third-party companies: We undertake not to disclose or share your personal data. Pime will be the sole holder. Your trust is our greatest concern.

With regard to other users: You can determine, from your settings, whether you want to share your public profile with other application users.
